This Too, Shall Pass

Life is trouble, and trouble is life;
If you're going to live, you're going to know strife.
Life is a mixture of both joy and sorrow,
For life can change in an instant tomorrow.
Sometimes the Lord lets our hearts know deep pain,
He sends us the sunshine, but also sends rain.
But His Word promises us that our pain is for good,
When we follow His calling and walk as we should.
He wants our weaknesses to become strong
By relying on Him when the days seem so long.
He's building His character into our own,
So don't let your heart become one of stone.
As one who has been there, I know for a fact
That tomorrow's a new day and pain doesn't last.
So never give up, and keep trusting the Master;
There's purpose and hope behind every "disaster."
